TRANSFERRING A CHARACTER INFO CRATER
Chromatic dragonrider characters may be applied to enter Crater, but they must conform to our plotline and standards. So, please be fluent on our history before applying. Only supported colors may be transferred in, and both special colors and metallic transfers must be cleared through admin before an application will be considered. Residents and crafters are free to apply as long as they are fitted to our history. Wherhandlers follow the same procedures as a rider character.

ADOPTING AN EXISTING CHARACTER
Once a player has given up or abandoned their character, admin may choose to offer said character for public adoption. Players will be required to submit an updated information sheet, as well as the reasons for wanting to adopt, why you should be given the character, and may be required to submit a short RP sample to ensure character integrity. Admin has the final say on all adoptions, and reserves the right to refuse an adoption or reserve any abandoned or NPC characters for plot purposes.

APPLYING FOR A RANKING POSITION
Ranking positions include: Weyrleader, Weyrsecond, Wingleaders, Wingseconds, and Headwoman. The position of Senior Weyrwoman, for the time being, will be reserved for administrators. To apply for one of these positions, a player must either have a current character or a character application prepared. The character will be inspected to ensure they have the qualifications to take up such a role, and the player will also be considered on the basis of activity, behavior, and contributions to the Weyr. These are IC leadership positions, and such, require a certain amount of dedication both in-character and out. Once you are ready to apply, contact the administrators via PM and we will discuss the process of application further. Once a position has been applied for, there will be a 2 week window where others may apply. At the end of those two weeks, the player will be chosen and cast. If at any time anyone feels said ranked-character is not performing in this role, please feel free to contact an admin with your concerns, as we also reserve the right to remove a IC knot from any player that we feel is not meeting requirements.

Weyrleader is a special position that will only be open during the flight of the senior queen. While the senior will have some say, the admin reserve the right to select the player they feel is best for the role. Like other roles, a player can be removed if we feel they are not treating the role with the dedication it requires. However, a Weyrleader can only be replaced during a senior flight.
